HOLIDAYS ^_________^

So Christmas was a little bit of a bummer this year because we didn't get to hang out with the rest of the family. In fact, we didn't even do our normal routine this year!! Oh well gotta make the best of these situations and still keep up the spirit. I went to church for the first time in 2 years, and the priest was saying some real soulful shit for the homily. I came back home and started calling people on my phone Emerson was first, so I called and he was asleep but he woke up to answer ^____^ and i said merry christmas and he did too. Then I realized not everyone's families stay up late and not knowing which ones do and don't I will just do that later today. Oh yeah and we took pictures at Chestnut hahaha claiming homes >.> anyways will update this later. Oh yeah and Liz's bday pics and what not. Until later tonight peace and much love to everyone.

Misunderstanding

I super duper apologize to Emerson and i deleted the post. I also did not mean that girls are weak in comparison or anything like that. I was referring to women in the sense of the useless bickering and nontalks that can go on forever over stupid things. I'll talk to him about it later after the holidays.

I forgot that December was such a great month to release sneakers and i'm totally broke!! -___-. Well im not broke just saving for the higher long term end goal: a car. *Sigh* oh well some of the sneakers will be on the marker later on for resell. I'll simply just have to pay more for them when I have a summer job.

That's how I feel about the music scene today. I hate that 98% of the good shit that comes out now has either A. been underground or B. is still underground and you have to search for that shit. I'm not just referring to hip-hop but the whole music genre in general. Furthermore, it seems like when people rise to prominence they try to change their style, experiment, or evolve. I'm not saying its bad but its rare that the new style of music is awesome or any good, every now and then it so happens the music is good, but i haven't remembered when the last time this happened. You know there are two people in this world. People who understand Curt Cobain's writing, and those who don't, like people still try to ascertain what "Smells Like Teen Spirit" is about. I admittedly don't understand what he was putting across, but I can kind of understand where he's coming from and maybe that's what the point was supposed to be. ANYWAYS

These past three weeks have been a blaze for me. It feels like life has been moving at the speed of nuclear rockets, launching off. First slow, but once they gain speed its like WTF!!
In all honesty the feelings I have for things right now, I don't know how to post, or maybe I don't want to post, maybe its like little cultures that were destroyed in favor of national cultures, we're afraid of the fact something was destroyed. Thinking about it, I am at a loss for who I am as a person, relative to me and relative to others. Am I giving off what I want to be portrayed as? Where do I start? Does it begin with ethnicity? I'm a half breed who hasn't adapted a single of any of my cultures mannerisms. I can't speak tagalog, nor do I act like a filipino during parties or don't try to give myself off as one, and on the white tip, let's be honest The only cultural thing about white people is indie music or what they do socially, and I don't think I act white at all (notify me if I do).

It feels like a lot of my friends are changing or rather I'm changing and it they just don't feel the same anymore. Not to mention the people I hang out with at school (val, cherine, karen m, warren, and cyrenne) aren't really that close to me. I guess you could say its partially my fault since I don't put effort into building these relationships. People have always looked at me as this outgoing friendly dude, but I'm really just as introverted as everyone else.

Oh silly Michael and his Purchasing habits

This is the purchasing portion of the three weeks and my motivations behind said purchases. If you appreciate stories or reasons for purchasing things like I do then come on a journey with me.

I went to Finishline one day just to see what they had and low and behold I say these Air Force II's and started fiending for them. My mother promised she would buy me them on her payday. Low and behold when we came back they were sold out and thus I had to get a pair from another location shipped ot my house. After 5 days of inticipation they came in!!!!

I decided to get my brother a Christmas present and he's another sneakerhead so what better a gift than some sneakers to buy him, sharing our sneaker connection love. I went on a hunt and there were these Jordans that i was going to get as well, but when I went to buy them they were sold out and Nike couldn't ship it from another Nike town, being they were just released and super limited. So I went to Pickyourshoes.com and low and behold they were there albeit another 20$ more than proper retail. My brother also loves blue and thus i found the gift I was set on getting him while I was at the site, not to mention if I bought 2 pairs of shoes they would give me a free shipping code. Thus my tempation shot sky high. I payed by card and waited for them to ship, and kept track of the tracking on UPS daily. After a hard day's work of tutoring and school the box finally came in!!



Yes the opened package. I like taking pictures of the opened package and the shipped box because once you see it, it's like a super happy moment in your life. Kind of like Christmas, well for me anyways (don't judge me).

The Halloween Post

So since I haven't posted for the better part of three weeks I guess I'll just go through some major events...... Let's see oh the only major thing was Halloween and here were go.... I didn't do anything except try to paint Angel as Blues Clues, that was an epic fail and here are the pictures to prove it.

Yup ^_^ I saw the princess Leia slave shirt and I just had to cop it one day. So I contacted all of the local Macy's to see if they had it and they were all sold out. So I searched vigilantly for a medium online but couldn't find one. Macys.com had a large left so I got that. It fits ok.

Over the weekend was Karen Lau's B-Day and that was happy time ^_^ I was just to lazy to post about it. Esp since on Sunday I was all happy walking home Longsilog and Jasmine Tea in a bag and right when I get to my gate the bag drops and all my food spills out >.<

Its different from Ongpins but if you come in with that expectation than you're good to go. Back in the days man when Meth and Wu were on the top of their game, it as awesome. But whatever. SO with a hobby that consumes a lot of money you have to have a good job. Now I have one, but friggin A!! Saving up for a down payment on a car, and with the tutoring and all I'll be making about 600$ a month, which is only enough for the down payment. This must seem a little gay but on a nice little sunny day like this there's nothing better than walking down the shirt in a simple t-shirt, raw denim, and some shoes (stereotypical urban middle class white guy look which I've acquired) and just jammin or feelin good to some good old Beautiful Day by U2. I Am Lame

Totally pointless but in my head i was like "HAH!! I am sam how about I Am LAME!!" yeah......Just thinking about my lameness....in regards to someone.... Testicular Pain

So sometimes when I run I get pain in mah left testicle. I dunn know why it never happens to the right one it just doesn't. Now I looked this up to be a little concerned, and have found that it is a common problem ^__^ hooray I'm not abnormal or anything. Apparently it happens to a lot of dudes with their left testicle and not the right. So it has to do with the connective tissue in the testicle getting twisted while running essentially denying the testicle of blood oxygen flow. The pain lasts only a little because the testicle begins to unravel itself. This is also known as a testicular tosian where it doesn't unravel itself. Here's a picture to demonstrate:

Ok went to SF today to experience the Love Parade. I didn't know what that was and a member of my class said "It's basically an extension of the pride parade" and i was just like "Oh"....end of conversation. Went anyways just to check it out and to sum it up: Bunch of white people dancing to techno/house/synthesizer with snare and bass, then dancing in little fruity get ups or booty shorts. Lots of ass cheeks from both sexes and what not. and yeah the list goes on......

The Japanese Festival that went down today was ok.... I got some taiyaki which was friggin bomb.

So they were one of the few people allowed to grace the template that is the forum. Yeah I like how he chose to keep it simple and clean with the use of different materials. They been out for awhile now so I had to cop em before they sold out. I love em though.


Got some new running shoes!! They feel great. Can't wait to see how long these last.


I've officially retired these 2 fellas today. The laces weren't holding up, the mesh was all soiled from a year buildup of sweat, there was a huge hole and the cushioning was nonexistant. So I had to retire em. They served me well.
By the numbers:
Jogging at about 5 miles a day per year 5x365=1825 mi minus say 2 months because of my inactivity and inconsistancy 5x60=300 1825-300=1525. These shoes have gone through 1525 miles with me before they retired. Well worth the buck.

3. Lose weight. Currently weigh 188 so I will lose 8 lbs by the end of the month and hopefully get to 170 by the end of November.

The only thing i could find remoteley close to that was some japenese dragon ash rock, hip-hop fusion. Least to say I was saddened >.< so I put on some Jeff Buckley. Mike Shinoda once said that if you can't find the music that you want then you should create it....I don't think so my rhymes would be whack so if i became a producer and found another rapper than it would be good to go, other than that Imma have to settle on some Shwayze lol.
